Western Prairie Human Services, the human services agency for Pope County, and the Sauer Family Foundation are sponsoring a series of community meetings to get community feedback on the concept of and interest in family resources centers locally in Pope County.
If you are a Pope County parent, community member or a community partner from an organization that serves Pope County families and/or
children, you are invited to one of these community meetings, where there will be conversation on topics like:
1. What needs do families have that are going unmet?
2. How can we support local parents in doing the most difficult and most important job they will ever have: raising healthy, happy kids?
3. What stressors are families facing and what supports do they need?
Interested community members can attend one of several meetings in Pope County on
November 12 in Glenwood, Starbuck, or Cyrus; on November 13 in Lowry, or on November 19 in Farwell.
